Oct 21, 2008 - Yes only on the regular henna. If you use it on other colors it can bring out to much of the red orange. It does work for henna tattoos and body art as well. Remember , always use fresh lemons! Not a concentrate.

Oct 21, 2008 - No such thing as a silly question! Once you learn it you will love it. Answer:No. Henna mixed with Indigo will give you a black. The more Indigo you add the darker it will be. That is also how you get browns. The best way to get a jet black is, dye your hair with henna, then rinse. Mix Indigo and immediately apply to hair. Once it is removed it will turn from a blueish gray to jet black in 24-48 hours.
